Image
Art: Namratha T J Mandala art, it's said that as meditative art, which has a huge history in Asian countries. Currently, it is using in various purpose as many as possible like a trend! It's awfully look hidden plenty of energy, concentration and time. Painting: Namratha T J Water painting stands always my first preference and the most favorite type. Surprisingly, I did water colour paintings before all others! Knowingly or unknowingly, nature is the true teacher for all of us. We learn the actual science from the nature. We usually used to pour out all our negativity and feel joy, silence, abundance, and many more in the nature. One such nature's painting is here! Namratha T. J. Second year  B.A. KAPMI, Shivamogga

Language of tradition:

Painting by : Ms. Nisarga S M This is my favourite type of painting which am really obsessed with. This style is called as Hase Chitra or Hase Painting , which is usually practiced in Malnad region by the Deewaru community in Shivamogga, Sagara & Uttara Kannada districts of Karnataka. In olden days these paintings were done on walls, pots and wells. On the surface as background they used red mud which is abundantly seen in this region and for designs they used white paint derived from rice paste and white mud. There used to be many hidden stories of kings, tradition and culture in this style of painting. Painting: Ms. Nisarga S M Second Year BA KAPMI, Shivamogga
