IS SHE TOO WEAK,  TO BE BOLD?
Women are worshiped in beautiful country like India. A goddess wearing sari with all jewelry people bow under her knees and ask for forgiveness and help and she being so kind listen to everyone carefully without discriminating men and women. India is a secular country not only Hinduism but also in Islam they believe that the status of women is so high and heaven lies under her feet, as well as in Christianity they believe  satan head is crushed by a woman. Even in all religious books women have a sacred place, respect and dignity, now a question rises within me, why are they harassed and abused in a harsh manner? After hearing about all the cases of rape and domestic violence, my heart beat raises and the questions when, where, who and how make my heart upset!

Some women suffer silently while others rebel and ask for their rights, as a result she is shut down by the words, “Girls must be sweet and soft” and she silently suffers and protest. While some of them are bold. Bold does not mean girl wearing formals and red lipstick which gives her bold look, but it means who comes out of their suffrage zone and raises the questions, why me? Just because they reproduce and bleed does not mean, they just belong to domestic sphere.

Women’s suffering as well as protest does not stop till they are treated as second sex in the society? Why not first? There is a big difference between sex and gender. Gender is just and social construct. In case of any gender issues there raises a new feminist fight. The banners and slogans in their hands can change only to certain extent. But I believe the problem should be solved from the root level by giving education and awareness through basic institutions such as family and school.

Let us join our hands together and fight against discrimination and violation of women's rights and I hope our coming generation will have healthy environment ahead.
